The Motte Table Lamp has a gleaming glass body on which streaks of opalescent white, green, and very soft peach flow to create a mesmerizing Easter-egg effect. Fitted with a pale shade, the body sits atop an optic crystal base. The Art Deco-inspired design is a nod to the tallest vase the prominent French glassmaker and designer Charles Schneider ever made. The swirling pattern brings the lamp a strong sense of movement achieved through a painstaking combination of marbling and glass-fusing techniques, which are difficult to do in tandem.
