The Osso Round Table Lamp is a refreshed version of the ever-popular lamps with bone-inlay pieced together along the surfaces of their bodies. On this urn-shaped form, the hand-cut rectangles of natural bone have subtle tonal differences inherent in the natural material that create a slight textural feel. The character of this ivory table lamp is achieved during an artisanal process that includes perfectly cutting and applying the pieces, a painstaking exercise. The antique brass hardware and finial, and the eggshell shantung shade are warm elements, the latter adding balance due to its scale. The cream-colored lamp was designed by Tom Caldwell.
