The Taurus Table Lamp has a number of artisanal aspects to its design and construction. The handmade ivory and black body has a mitered square that, paired with the perfectly scaled rectangular ivory shantung shade, completes a very balanced composition. Once the bone and composite materials have been fitted together in tidy lines, texture is achieved on the surfaces when artisans mark the white speckled bone with a branding tool. This level of specificity and the fact that the lamp is composed like an intricate puzzle make this a special accent piece.
