We aim to make the delivery process as seamless as possible. The hard work of choosing beautiful new furniture is done, the rest is up to us.
Our local white glove delivery service encompasses a large area of Southeastern North Carolina. No boxes on your doorstep! We’ll bring the furniture into your home, assemble as needed, and place it where you want. This is part of the superior service that you receive from a locally owned and operated furniture business. Local deliveries will be delivered soon after they arrive in our warehouse. When this happens, you’ll receive a call from our Delivery Coordinator to schedule delivery, verify your information and answer any questions.
Rooms should be ready for delivery. Delivery teams will not remove, disconnect, or reconnect any electronic equipment. Custom Home reserves the right to cancel and reschedule deliveries during hazardous weather conditions. At the time of delivery, we require someone 18 years of age or older to be home to accept the delivery. If no one is present at the scheduled time of delivery, a re-delivery fee will apply. Deliveries outside of Custom Home's local delivery area are subject to different terms and conditions for delivery and service. Long-distance delivery prices depend on location.
Please make sure you clear the area before our arrival / remove any obstructions that we might encounter when we carry the furniture into your home. What we can’t do: Remove your existing furniture or handle any electronic equiptment.
We do our best to take every care possible when delivering the furniture into your home. It is the customer's responsibility to measure the space and path ways leading to the space to recieve furniture. On a rare occasion, if a piece of furniture is a tight fit, we may ask you to approve our attempt to fit your furniture upon the understanding that we cannot be responsible for any damage to your home or the furniture. If it doesn’t fit, you can reach out to an upholsterer, furniture technician, or hoisting company.
Our furniture pickup process is designed to be simple and efficient. After your order has passed a thorough Quality Control inspection, you will be contacted to coordinate pickup. Our office will provide hours for pickup and confirm which location you will be picking up from. Upon arrival to our facility, you will be given the opportunity to look your item(s) over before our warehouse team loads the order into your vehicle.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING STEPS TO HELP US COORDINATE SMOOTHLY AND ENSURE A HASSLE FREE EXPERIENCE:
Customers who choose to pick up their orders are required to provide their own pads and tie-downs to ensure their furniture is protected and securely fastened for transportation. Custom Home cannot tie down or secure any furniture for you, and must be handled solely by the customer.
Custom Home has warehouse locations in both Wilmington and Leland. When scheduling your order pickup, it is important to confirm the exact pickup location in advance with our coordinators to avoid any delays or confusion.
On the day of your scheduled pickup, we ask customers to please call at least 1 hour ahead so that we may have the item(s) pulled and ready upon your arrival to our facility.
