Mike Carlough - I am the Customer Service Manager. I have been with Custom Home Furniture Galleries for almost 6 years now and look forward to many more. I started out making deliveries, moved to warehouse management, and then on to customer service. So I am very familiar with different aspects of the furniture industry. I have lived in Wilmington for 19 years and I absolutely love it here. In my spare time, I enjoy writing music, football season, and spending time with friends & family. I look forward to working with everyone and maybe even making some new friends in the process.

Brenda Ellingson - I am originally from High Point, NC. I attended High Point University and grew up around the furniture industry. I have been a design consultant with Custom Home Furniture Galleries for 4 years but have 30 plus years working in a furniture or design capacity. In my spare time I like to travel, am an avid reader and a creative cook. I also enjoy giving back to my community through volunteering.

Jane Excel - I am a native Wilmingtonian and have enjoyed a career in the furniture industry for 22 years, the last 4 of them with Custom Home Furniture Galleries. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my grandsons, cooking, gardening and going to the beach!

Wendy Fonvielle - I'm a Wilmington native and for the last 27 years have been helping people create comfortable and beautiful rooms in their homes. I was excited to have the opportunity to join the family at Custom Home in 2003 and am proud that we can offer our customers a relaxed, casual, and friendly environment to shop. On my days off, I love to do anything artsy and creative, especially when I can do it with my children or my grandchildren. My quality time with my husband is usually spent in a boat with a fishing pole in my hand and our yellow Labrador by our side. Life is good!!

Phil Sellers - I have worked in distribution and warehousing for 44 years. I have been with Custom Home for 3 years, and prior to that with Murrow Furniture for 18 years. The entire industry has changed so much in the past 5 years, it's almost like a new career. Customer interaction has increased due to a smarter, more well-informed consumer. It remains a job that I look forward to coming to each morning. I enjoy fishing, hunting and spending time with my family when I am not at work. We have lived in Wilmington since 1984, and consider this home.

Dawn Sloan - Although I am the new "kid" on the block at CHFG, I have had the pleasure of helping clients decorate their homes for the past 22 years. From choosing paint colors, floor coverings, furniture and accessories to designing custom window treatments and bed linens, I can assist you with your decorating needs! As for my personal style, I love slipcovered upholstery and painted pieces mixed with a little traditional here and there... eclectic cottage style! Sharon Stokley - I have been in the furniture industry for 29 years, previously with Murrow Furniture Galleries and then joining Custom Home Furniture Galleries 4 years ago. Since graduating from the UNC-G School of Design, I became a professional member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). My focus is to create a space that fits the way the client lives as well as reflecting their personal style and taste. With my uncanny sense of color coordination and space planning, I am able to help my clients visualize either a single room or the entire home. In my spare time, I love to work in the yard, practice yoga and spend time with my husband, Dennis, and our two Springer Spaniels, Cara and Chrissie.
